The only way this style of league would be supported is with the Drop In Singles enabled. In fact, this is the definition of what a Drop In Singles League would be. You would configure the league for 30 teams (5 x 6 lanes) with 1 person on each "team". On the "What Is This League" tab, you would toggle the switch for Drop In Singles to Yes. You can configure the rest of the rules to use Book Average or Fixed Average for new bowlers, and configure the HDCP as well. Configure the rest of the rules as appropriate. Next, on the "Lane Assignments & Rotation" screen (D-2: Schedule), you will want to click on the "Weeks, Lanes, Shifts" TAB. On this tab, you will want to configure Number of Teams per Lane at 5. Do not worry about team pairings as they are not going to be relevant. When through, close out of this screen. You can enter the bowlers on their drawn "Teams" by going to Weekly Duties > 4: Enter Scores screen. Disregard the "Team Numbers", just pay attention to the Lane Numbers. The Drop Down List will have 5 listings for Lanes 1 and 2, 5 more for Lanes 3 & 4 and finally, 5 listings for Lanes 5 & 6. You will enter a single bowler on each "Team" so that scores can be entered. When advancing to the next week, the "Team" Rosters will be empty. As such, when the bowlers "draw" their lane assignments, you can add them to the necessary team. Again, ignore the "Team Numbers" and just enter the bowlers to the lanes. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information. How this league is working : They prepare a basket with card holding the lane numbers 5 x6lanes. When the players coming in they pick a card and this count as assigned lane. So lane assignment from the program is not used. Weekly recap sheets could be blank and then be filled in by hand when the have picked the lane. The season start with the average from last year. New players start with a default (145 for women and 155 for men). They have a handicap system of 80% to average 210 changing each week. Could be nice if this sort of league could be handled by the program. We have several of this type of league’s in our region. Will try to set-up like you mentioned but it seems a lot of work. Let you know the outcome. Basically, you will want to configure the rules for 1 person "teams", then designate the total number of teams based on the total number of bowlers expected to be bowling. In the Rules (D-1), you will want to go to the "What Is This League" Tab. In the lower left, there is an option For "Drop-In Singles". You will want enable this option. This rule is designed to clear the "team" rosters as you advance to the next week so the bowlers can be placed on different "teams" the following week. In addition, you will want to go into D) Defining Your League > 2: Schedule, click on the "Weeks, Lanes, Shifts" tab and indicate that there will be more than 1 team per lane. Beyond this, we would need more information on the way the league is run. Do they simply track average, Individual scores, etc? You indicated they would be bowling "random" lanes, would the Starting Lane be the same? Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.
